About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Internal Communications Manager to join our team at HS2 Ltd. As a key member of our communications team, you will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of internal communications and engagement to inform and engage employees on HS2's progress against its purpose and priorities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with the wider team to develop and deliver internal communications strategies and plans aligned with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Internal Channels and Content Manager to create an editorial calendar of content that showcases the organization's priorities and progress.
  • Partner with the Senior Engagement Manager to design and implement an employee experience strategy that fosters a sense of connection and belonging among employees.
  • Produce and publish internal communications content across various channels, ensuring consistency and alignment with corporate KPIs.
  • Actively promote and embed Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) principles in all work, supporting and complying with organizational initiatives, policies, and procedures.
About You
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to plan, execute, and complete projects on time and to required quality standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate with internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to grasp, understand, and promote complex and sensitive issues in a persuasive way to different audience groups.
  • Knowledge of best practice internal communications and engagement processes, including change management practices, tools, and techniques.
  • Experience in developing and delivering comprehensive internal communications strategies and plans, with a focus on employee engagement and experience.
