Job Title: Senior Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer

Location: Barrow-in-Furness. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements - please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.

Salary: Competitive

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement hardware and software design solutions to meet project or business milestones.
  • Manage requirements and acceptance criteria for systems or products, ensuring compliance with company standards and procedures.
  • Produce documentation to support design review processes, including technical specifications, diagrams, and test documentation.
  • Install and test systems, ensuring all work is done safely and to relevant standards.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, company policies, and local business processes.
Requirements:
  • A relevant Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) degree or equivalent qualification and experience in an engineering background.
  • Experience in PLC and SCADA programming, C&I system verification test design, or parts specification would be advantageous.
  • Demonstrable experience of engineering lifecycle and technical specialities.
  • Working towards relevant Professional Registration is advantageous.
