About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager to lead our catastrophe modeling efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading model evaluation projects, performing in-depth technical analysis, and collaborating with internal scientists and actuaries.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead model evaluation projects to ensure accuracy and reliability of catastrophe models
  2. Perform in-depth technical analysis to identify areas for improvement and optimize model performance
  3. Collaborate with internal scientists and actuaries to develop and implement new catastrophe models
  4. Present findings to key stakeholders, including senior management and clients
  5. Support the development of solutions for new natural perils, including earthquake, hurricane, and flood modeling
  6. Build and leverage an external network of experts to stay up-to-date on the latest industry trends and best practices
Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a highly experienced and skilled Senior Manager with a strong background in catastrophe modeling. The ideal candidate will have:

  1. Extensive experience in catastrophe modeling (over 7 years in the market)
  2. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  3. Proficiency in RMS, AIR, SQL, and Microsoft Office, PowerBI
  4. Strong leadership and people management abilities
