Job Title: Sister/Charge Nurse - Children's ED

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sister/Charge Nurse to join our Children's Emergency Department team at Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert emergency care to children and their families, supporting the senior sister/charge nurse, and acting as nurse in charge of the department when on shift.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality emergency care to children and their families
  • Support the senior sister/charge nurse in managing the department
  • Act as nurse in charge of the department when on shift
  • Support junior staff and participate in the management of the team
Requirements:
  • Registered Nurse Child/RSCN
  • Level 3 Resus trained Pediatrics Immediate Life Support (PILS)
  • Experience working in an Acute Children's Hospital Setting
  • Previous experience working in a Children's Emergency Department
  • EPALS/APLS provider
