Job Title: Laboratory Technician at Intertek
The role of Laboratory Technician at Intertek involves conducting metallurgical and analytical testing, supporting laboratory outsourcing projects, utilizing database systems, and maintaining a commitment to quality service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the preparation, testing, reporting, and management of samples
- Sort and file electronic and hard copy documents
- Conduct laboratory activities and provide technical support
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Degree or HND in science/engineering
- Experience in a laboratory environment, preferably related to metallurgy
About the Opportunity
As a Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and accuracy of laboratory results. Your duties will include managing workloads to meet turnaround time targets, performing quality control checks on microscope equipment, and maintaining equipment to ensure high standards.
