About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Marine Engine Fitter to join our team at Gardline, a leading provider of marine survey operations. As a Senior Marine Engine Fitter, you will be responsible for providing a skilled mechanical engineering and technical service for the marine workshop and company fleet of survey vessels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide and maintain a high standard and quality of work in the marine workshop and on vessels
  • Repair and maintain the company's fleet of survey vessels, at any location worldwide, and ensure timely completion
  • Carry out class machinery surveys as instructed by superintendents
  • Ensure that all Health, Safety, and Environmental company policies are adhered to and promote safe working practices
Requirements
  • Qualifications to C&G in engineering or similar
  • Time served marine engineer and proven work history within marine engineering
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable in a changing environment
  • Personal drive and a focus on health and safety
  • Team spirit together with a proactive and diligent work ethic
