Job Overview
Position: Speech and Language Therapist (Band 5/6)
Contract Type: Permanent
An exciting opportunity has emerged to become part of the Speech and Language Therapy team, contributing to the health and well-being of children and young people. This role is essential in providing high-quality therapeutic services to support communication and swallowing needs.
The working hours are Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments and provide interventions for children with speech, language, and communication difficulties.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure a holistic approach to care.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
- Engage with families and caregivers to provide support and guidance on communication strategies.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance professional skills and knowledge.

Person Specification
Education and Qualifications
- Relevant degree in Speech and Language Therapy or equivalent.
Experience
- Demonstrable experience in a clinical setting, working with children and young people.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
