The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and ambitious Development Team Lead to join our client, a renowned gaming industry leader, in a critical moment of their history.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and Motivate a Team: Manage a 10-person development team, fostering a culture of excellence and high performance, and promoting a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Champion Quality: Ensure solutions meet the highest standards, adhering to company guidelines and best practices, and driving continuous improvement.
  • Efficiency Maestro: Focus on streamlining processes, minimizing development time, and identifying potential roadblocks for seamless delivery, and implementing efficient development methodologies.
  • Performance Champion: Conduct regular performance reviews and offer valuable input for developer growth, and provide coaching and mentoring to team members.

Requirements

  • Technical Expertise: A deep passion for technology and a commitment to best practices in software development, with extensive experience with languages like TypeScript, Golang, or other server-side technologies.
  • Leadership Experience: A strong track record of leading and adapting teams to achieve optimal business outcomes, with a proven ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with mobile development tools and technologies, experience in performance testing to ensure application speed and efficiency, and a solid understanding of service-oriented architecture principles.
  • Methodologies and Tools: Experience or exposure to various software development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.), and familiarity with cloud technologies like GCP, GKE, or SaaS platforms.

  • Generative AI and Large Language Models: Knowledge of generative artificial intelligence and large language models, and experience in implementing AI-powered solutions.
