An exciting opportunity to join a prominent multi-disciplinary construction consultancy as a Consultant in Environmental Sustainability. In this position, you will be instrumental in advancing the division and representing sustainability initiatives within the organization.
The consultancy provides a comprehensive array of surveying, design, engineering, and advisory services tailored to the built environment. They engage in various professional disciplines and specialized services to meet the needs of diverse clientele across public and private sectors.
The organization is dedicated to leading transformative efforts in the built environment and is in search of a proactive individual to rejuvenate their Environmental Engineering team, enhancing its client-centric approach.
The successful candidate will guide and develop the Sustainability and Building Physics team, contributing to the establishment of a healthier, more sustainable built environment for clients.
Your responsibilities will include overseeing a team that delivers a wide range of sustainability and conceptual engineering services, complementing the Building Services Engineering team, such as:
- Optimizing Building Performance and operational Energy
- Assessing Low and Zero Carbon Technologies, preparing Energy Statements for Planning
- Driving business development within the sustainable environmental engineering sector
Additionally, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the Group's ESG team and advocating for the Group's Sustainability goals.
Qualifications:
- Degree or Master's degree in Engineering or a related field in the Built Environment
- At least 5 years of experience in sustainability and the built environment
- Expertise in BIM integration and ISO 19650 standards
- Skills in project, personnel, and resource management
- Enthusiastic, proactive, and capable of effective collaboration
- Ability to influence at executive and senior management levels
- Strong business insight and brand promotion skills
- Familiarity with commercial policies and contractual agreements

We are looking for a candidate with a background in sustainable construction, excellent interpersonal skills, and the capability to lead and engage in client interactions.
