Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled HGV Class 1 Driver to join our team at Stobart, a leading ambient transport and logistics business. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for completing deliveries and collections for our customers, ensuring timely and efficient transportation of goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate HGV Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Complete deliveries and collections, including manual handling, drop and swaps, and general trunking.
  • Conduct regular vehicle checks to ensure safety and report any defects.
  • Comply with driver's hours and WTD legislation, as well as on-site health and safety requirements.
  • Develop strong relationships with customers and colleagues, providing excellent communication and customer service skills.
Requirements
  • Valid HGV 1/C+E Licence and a minimum of 6 months HGV Class 1 driving experience.
  • No more than 6 points, no DD/DR Code convictions.
  • Current valid DCPC & Tacho cards.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
