Adepto Technical Recruitment Ltd is seeking a highly experienced HSE Consultant to provide expert leadership and advice in health, safety, and environmental matters to a global chemicals manufacturer. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing professional guidance and support to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert leadership and advice in health, safety, and environmental risk management measures to all activities on site.
  • Prepare and enforce compliance with site documentation and relevant regulations.
  • Improve the site's health, safety, and environmental performance by promoting continuous improvement, identifying, and fostering the application of best practice.
  • Ensure the site has an effective loss prevention and emergency response team at all times, in line with site and company emergency plans.
  • Provide regular transparent and accurate reporting and communications on all health, safety, and environmental activities.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in health, safety, and environmental management, preferably in the chemicals manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of COMAH regulations and standards.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
