**Key Responsibilities:**

  • **Procurement Management:**
    • Source and procure construction materials
    • Manage supplier relationships and ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards
    • Monitor and control project procurement budgets
    • Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising on quality
    • Prepare and analyze cost reports to support project managers and senior management
  • **Logistics Coordination:**
    • Coordinate the delivery of materials and services to construction sites
    • Resolve any logistical issues that may arise to avoid project delays
  • **Quality Assurance:**
    • Ensure all purchased materials and services meet the required specifications and quality standards
    • Conduct supplier assessments and performance reviews
    • Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier performance
    • Prepare regular procurement reports for management review

**Key Requirements:**

  • Minimum of 3-5 years' experience as a Buyer in the construction industry
  • Proven track record in procurement and supply chain management within a main contractor environment
  • Qualifications in procurement are not compulsory
  • Knowledge of construction materials, plant, and subcontractor markets
  • Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
