At Middlewich Machinery, we are seeking a skilled Grounds Care Mechanic to join our team. As a Grounds Care Mechanic, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and operational condition of equipment used on golf courses, sports fields, and for landscape contracting companies.
Key Responsibilities:- Inspect, diagnose, and repair groundcare machinery, including commercial lawnmowers, greens mowers, fairway mowers, tractors, hedge trimmers, strimmers, and other related tools.
- Perform routine servicing and preventative maintenance to extend machinery lifespan.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults.
- Provide advice and support to operators on the proper use and maintenance of machinery.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematic diagrams.
- Relevant mechanical qualifications or certifications (desirable but not essential).
- Full UK driving licence.
