Electrical Engineer Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team at Scantec in Workington, Cumbria.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems and manufacturing engineering, with a focus on routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of electrical systems and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Perform preventive maintenance to ensure optimal operation of electrical systems.
- Install, upgrade, and modify electrical systems as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all safety standards and regulations.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to achieve operational goals.

We are looking for a time served Electrical Engineer with experience in a manufacturing engineering environment, educated to ONC/HNC level.
The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of PLC Systems, Electricity at Work Regulations, and LV Switching.
Additional desirable skills include 18th Edition Wiring Regulations, COMPEX Training, Installation, Inspection & Testing, and IOSH Working Safely.
