Security Maintenance Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Security Maintenance Engineer to join our team at AWE Plc. As a Security Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for leading planned maintenance tasks and breakdowns on site security system equipment, including building intruder alarms, card access control systems, and CCTV systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead planned maintenance tasks and breakdowns on site security system equipment.
  2. Provide support for On-Call Rota to maintain system 24/7.
  3. Implement safe systems of work and work instructions, demonstrating understanding, competence, and adherence to all relevant legislative and company standards.
  4. Demonstrate professional and effective communication to Customers, stakeholders, and other members of your team.
  5. Undertake technical investigations and generate reports to support modifications, abnormal events, or design reviews.

Requirements:

  • Engineering apprenticeship with a minimum NVQ/Diploma Level 3 in a relevant technical discipline.
  • Relevant NVQ/Diploma level 2 plus industrial experience.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain the necessary security clearance for the role.
  • Willingness to complete specific training to work in designated areas of the site.
