Key Responsibilities- Support children aged 6-18 in one of our 7 active services in Cardiff, promoting their emotional and social well-being.
- Safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people, ensuring their needs are met and their rights are respected.
- Develop and maintain a safe and inclusive environment, fostering a sense of belonging and community among children and young people from diverse backgrounds.
- Manage challenging behaviour, using positive reinforcement and de-escalation techniques to promote a calm and respectful atmosphere.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement personalized care plans, addressing the unique needs and goals of each child and young person.
- Ensure adherence to strict health and safety protocols, prioritizing the well-being and safety of children and young people at all times.
- Build strong relationships with children and young people, empowering them to reach their full potential and achieve their goals.
