Wellbeing and Activities Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Wellbeing and Activities Assistant to join our Magic Moments Team at Four Seasons Health Care. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting our residents to lead fulfilling lives, promoting their independence, and enhancing their overall wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess the needs of our residents through meetings with them, team members, and family members
  • Develop and deliver a wide range of activities, including music, exercise, and arts & crafts, tailored to meet the individual needs of our residents
  • Build strong relationships with residents and their families to gather life story information and ensure care plans and activities are developed and updated accordingly
  • Collaborate with care staff and relatives to create personalized activities that engage our residents and reflect their interests and hobbies
  • Establish and maintain community links with local groups and arrange trips and excursions to involve our residents in activities outside the Home
  • Support the roll-out of the Magic Moments initiatives and encourage others to be involved
  • Track and record activity engagement using digital and written methods

Requirements:

  • Confident in delivering group and one-to-one activities
  • A team player with excellent communication skills
  • A genuine interest in promoting independence and lifestyle opportunities for the elderly
  • Energetic and hard-working with basic IT skills
  • Flexible and adaptable to change
  • Passionate about delivering exceptional services and making a positive impact
