We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Fessey House, a unique and modern care home providing a supported living environment for older people with cognitive impairments.

As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing practical, emotional, and physical support to our residents, enabling them to maintain their independence and live their lives to the fullest.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in the assessment and care/support planning process to ensure the individual needs of our residents are met.
  • Provide person-centred support to residents, promoting their dignity, autonomy, and well-being.
  • Administer prescribed medications and monitor the effectiveness of care plans.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment, promoting a culture of respect and inclusivity.
  • Comply with Health and Safety, Manual Handling, COSHH, Food Hygiene, Fire, First Aid, and Accident/Incident policies.
Requirements
  • Fluency in the English language (as a requirement of Part 7 of the Immigration Act).
  • Able to work a variety of shift patterns, including earlies, lates, and nights, on a rolling 2-week rota.
  • Ability to work every other weekend.
