Key Responsibilities:
  • Contract administration and variation management: Ensure all contracts and changes are properly documented and managed to minimize project risks and disputes.
  • Risk assessment and mitigation: Pinpoint project risks, craft plans to address them, and monitor those plans to keep the project on track.
  • Quality assurance and compliance: Safeguard project quality and safety by checking adherence to plans, coordinating inspections, and documenting any issues.
  • Continuous improvement and personal development: Continuous learning to stay on top of industry developments and share knowledge for project optimisation.
Requirements:
  • 5 years' experience of UK marine construction and/or quantity surveying
  • A degree in Quantity Surveying
  • A working knowledge of marine plant and lifting equipment
  • Some knowledge of the offshore construction industry
  • A solid understanding of HSE standards, regulations, reporting procedures, risk assessment and method statement requirements
  • Familiarity with planning software and running the site cost forecast
