Job Title: Infrastructure As Code Engineer

New demand for a DevOps / Automation Engineer (IaC) for one of our global service provider clients to work on a 6 month rolling contract basis. The role will be a hybrid opportunity with 2 days per week to be based on client site just outside of Manchester so candidates must be within a commutable distance.

Key Technical Skills:
  • Experience in infrastructure automation in complex environments
  • Experience in software development – production ready APIs and application code – Python3. Go is a plus.
  • Experience with IaC tools such as Ansible (Ansible Automation Platform), Chef, Terraform – creating robust code for infrastructure automation at scale.
  • Experience in designing, building and maintaining cloud-native applications. Event-driven, microservice based architecture such as Openshift and Kafka.
  • Experience with CI/CD tooling – Jenkins, GitLab.
