About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Fund Accountant to join our team at Margetts Fund Management Ltd. As a Senior Fund Accountant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of financial reports and regulatory submissions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting: Produce and publish Scheme Reports and Accounts in line with International Accounting Standards (IAS) and other regulatory requirements.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including the calculation of Distribution rates for the Schemes and the completion and validation of CT600/CT61 tax returns.
  • Collaboration: Liaise with auditors for annual Scheme audits and work closely with other teams within the company to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to the reporting environment to shorten reporting periods and enhance overall efficiency.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, auditors, and regulatory bodies.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or equivalent with a minimum of 18 months of experience in fund accounting or financial services auditing.
  • Skills: Excellent Microsoft Office skills, high-level analytical skills, and strong attention to detail.
  • Personal Qualities: Proactive, excellent stakeholder management skills, and strong interpersonal, team-working, and communication skills.
