Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fleet Maintenance Technician to join our team at Qube Recruitment. As a Fleet Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our bulk tanker fleet.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform quarterly and annual preventative gas maintenance activities on our bulk vehicle fleet.
- Respond to breakdowns on the bulk fleet across a geographic region.
- Operate safely at all times while maintaining our bulk fleet.
- Ensure the tanker fleet is maintained to a safe, timely, and satisfactory standard and liaise with suppliers to ensure non-stock parts are made available to minimize downtime.
- Ensure compliance to internal procedures, group standards, industry codes of practice, and legislation relating to LPG road tankers.
- Identify areas of improvement for Bulk Tanker Fleet, both retrospective and new build.
- Attend training courses outside of their allocated geographical region.
Requirements:
- Hands-on mechanical experience.
- HGV experience preferred but not essential.
- Gas maintenance experience preferred but not essential.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends if needed.
- Ability to travel to different depots for repair works.
- Valid driving license.
