About the Role
Our team in the UK, comprising over 1,400 professionals, delivers specialized capabilities across various domains including air, land, sea, space, and cyber for military, security, and commercial clients globally.
In Bristol and Burgess Hill, we provide advanced Platform Management Systems (PMS) for the UK Royal Navy's surface and sub-surface fleets, including the Astute submarine and Queen Elizabeth Class aircraft carriers, as well as support for commercial marine markets.

Key Responsibilities
The Quality Engineer will be responsible for:
- Leading the preparation and execution of internal audits to ensure compliance with engineering, manufacturing, and production standards.
- Conducting First Article Inspections.
- Assisting in root cause analysis and corrective actions for product and process non-conformances.
- Monitoring supplier corrective and preventative actions, including customer escapes and process non-conformities.
- Reviewing the quality of documentation and outputs throughout the project and product lifecycle.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A background in Quality Assurance and Mechanical/Manufacturing disciplines.
- Experience in internal auditing or extensive experience in Quality Assurance within an ISO9001/AS9100 environment.
- Advanced knowledge of APQP and control plans.
- Experience in a manufacturing or production setting.
