About the Role

Chubb Fire & Security Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Validation & Technical Manager to join our Fire Consultancy division on a full-time, permanent basis. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving quality through effective people management and coaching to a large team of national Fire Risk Assessors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical validation of Fire Risk Assessment reports and calculation checks on occupancy reports
  • Point of contact for customer queries in relation to technical aspects
  • Provide support and guidance to the wider team of Assessors either directly or through the utilization of Subject Matter Experts
  • Manage the validation matrix for Assessors in relation to qualifications and ability mentor and coach Risk Assessors in the field to ensure that all competencies are reached in order to fulfill the Fire Risk Assessment role
  • Creation and distribution of Technical Bulletins
  • Manage, maintain, and update report templates within our BORIS system
  • Action any customer queries in relation to technical aspects
  • Build strong, credible relationships both with internal and external customers in person and via media/telephone channels
  • Carry out at least one Fire Risk Assessment per month
Requirements
  • Accreditation with either IFE or IFSM with demonstrable experience in completing Fire Risk Assessments
  • Up-to-date knowledge of fire legislation
  • Strong administrative and IT skills
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills
  • Current UK driving license
