**Job Summary**

Seven Resourcing is seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Assistant to support our team in Cambridge. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial processes.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Accurately load all corporate payments onto the Commitment Records and associated systems to ensure timely and accurate payments.
  • Record and track Other Local Authority contributions, generating invoices in a timely manner.
  • Ensure consistent and accurate financial data recording across all systems.
  • Provide financial statistics to relevant managers as requested to comply with CCC regulations.
  • Adhere to the Council's financial regulations, national charging guidance, and departmental policies and procedures.
  • Assist with monitoring and/or management of budgets as necessary.

**Requirements:**

  • Proven experience in finance, with a strong understanding of financial processes and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with a strong understanding of financial software and systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of attention to detail.
