Job Summary:
CFA Archaeology Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Asbestos Project Officer to join our team in Leeds and Milton Keynes offices. As an Asbestos Project Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring that all asbestos-related projects are completed to the highest standards, while maintaining a safe and healthy working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage asbestos-related projects, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure timely and cost-effective completion.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including archaeologists, engineers, and contractors, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to identify asbestos-containing materials and develop remediation plans.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and contractors to ensure project success.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of project progress, including budget and schedule updates.
- Develop and implement training programs for staff and contractors on asbestos safety and management.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and excellence.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in asbestos management, project management, or a related field.
- Proven track record of leading and managing projects to successful completion.
- Strong understanding of asbestos regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
