Position: Special Needs Educator

Location: South East England, Berkshire, Reading

Key Responsibilities:
  • Offer personalized assistance to learners with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Create and execute tailored educational strategies based on individual student requirements
  • Conduct customized lessons aimed at helping students navigate learning challenges
  • Regularly evaluate and track students' academic development
  • Work in partnership with educators, guardians, and other specialists to enhance students' educational experiences
Essential Qualifications:
  • Current DBS certification
  • Experience in supporting students with SEN
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Educational Background:

A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or a related discipline

Professional Experience:

Previous experience as a Special Needs Educator or in a comparable position

Skills and Knowledge:
  • Awareness of diverse learning methodologies and techniques
  • Capability to modify teaching approaches to accommodate individual student needs
  • Familiarity with SEN guidelines and best practices
Work Environment:

The role of Special Needs Educator is situated in South East England, specifically in Berkshire, Reading. This is a temporary position requiring part-time hours. The work setting involves close interaction with students and collaboration with educators, guardians, and other professionals within an educational framework.

All stated pay rates include 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This position is temporary, with the potential for a permanent role in the future.
