Role: Contracts Supervisor

Location: Herefordshire

Sector: Timber Frame Construction

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 + Vehicle & Package

We are seeking an experienced Contracts Supervisor to oversee Timber Frame installations and manage all paperwork and contractual documents, lift plans, and logistical requirements.

This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced Timber Frame erector or someone with a background in project coordination to begin a career in an operational role for an expanding timber frame business.

The successful candidate will work across 3-5 live projects at any one time, overseeing operatives and sub-contractors, attending site meetings to ensure progress and variations are recorded and circulated to relevant parties.

About the Role:
  • Regularly visit sites under your area of responsibility (3-5 sites at any one time)
  • Induct operatives on sites and ensure all documents and requirements are in place
  • Provide clear direction to sub-contractors and monitor their quality
  • Attend site meetings ensuring progress/variances are put in writing and copied to all relevant parties
  • Ensure work on site is delivered to agreed HSE standards including, scaffold, slab, and crane lift plans
  • Maintain quality standards to ensure site handover meets pre-agreed contract specification
  • Regular office visits collaborating with the wider teams
About You:
  • Ideally some Timber Frame erection experience
  • Ability to manage and motivate operatives in a site environment
  • Effective communication skills with operatives, clients, and colleagues
  • Ability to write clear and concise reports, identifying requirements for labour, deliveries, and plant and any variance in the programme
  • Ability to read working drawings
