Job Description

**Architect Lead - Software Engineering Expert**

We are seeking an experienced Architect Lead to join our team at Third Nexus Group Limited. As a key member of our architecture team, you will be responsible for leading the architectural design and development of complex software systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the architectural design and development of complex software systems
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to understand requirements and develop high-level product specifications
  • Ensure system integration and compliance with best practices and industry standards
  • Guide a team of architects and engineers, driving innovation and ensuring technical excellence
  • Responsible for leading the business through various transformational delivery solutions towards a digital-first philosophy and ultimately growth of our systems and tech services
  • Working closely with Senior Managers and key stakeholders across the business to drive collaboration and communication between various teams
  • Working with our Architecture, Infrastructure, Delivery and Data teams, and then being able to drive decision-making processes that translate into highly technical documentation

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of line management experience (postholder will manage 3-5 reportees)
  • 2+ years of experience in solution architecture or similar roles with significant exposure to architecture documentation standards
  • A Bachelor's/Masters degree in a STEM role
  • Expertise working as a Software Engineer who has built software solutions

Desirable Skills

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)
  • Proficiency in multiple programming languages (e.g., Java, Python)
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, TOGAF) are a plus
  • Experience designing and/or building Financial systems
  • Experience in using enterprise architecture modelling tools
  • Experience working with multiple and external stakeholder parties
  • IT software-related qualifications and systems analysis
