Key Responsibilities:
As a Wastewater Maintenance Specialist in our Water Recycling Services, you will play a crucial role in protecting the environment, public health, and maintaining essential infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include addressing issues within our network such as blockages, odors, flooding, and other incidents. You will deliver exceptional service levels to our customers while complying with environmental regulations.
Being part of our standby roster, you will be prepared to handle additional out-of-hours work, ensuring seamless service delivery. Safety is paramount in all aspects of this role, and you will be expected to adhere to health and safety protocols diligently.

Your Duties Will Include:
- Operating a high-pressure water jetting unit, for which you will receive training, as well as specialized CCTV equipment to identify and promote repair work for any issues found in our sewerage network.
- Taking ownership of investigating and providing first-time resolutions for sewerage problems encountered by our customers.
- Responding to incidents and completing scheduled maintenance tasks.
- Accurately documenting and recording all feedback from site visits through our IT systems.
- Primarily working independently while engaging with both internal and external customers on a daily basis.
What You Need to Succeed:
- Experience or willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Basic IT proficiency.
- Ability to work independently and use your initiative.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- A full driving license; having a 4.5-tonne license would be advantageous as the role may eventually require this (training will be provided if necessary).
- You must be able to work in confined spaces and at heights without restrictions. Due to harness weight limits, your maximum weight cannot exceed 113 kilograms, and you will be required to complete relevant occupational health checks, including Hand-arm Vibration (HAV).
