Job Title: Mechanical and CNC Engineer

Simpson Booth is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical and CNC Engineer to join our team. As a Mechanical and CNC Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and analyzing life support systems, as well as producing SolidWorks designs and manufacturing drawings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and analyze life support systems from first principles.
  • Apply non-compressible and compressible flow applications from first principles and software analysis.
  • Apply heat transfer applications from first principles and software analysis.
  • Produce SolidWorks designs, conceptual drawings, and manufacturing drawings as required.
  • Review and approve technical drawings, specifications, data sheets, data books, procedures, and policies.
  • Submit design drawings and documents to third-party organizations and resolve technical queries and comments.
  • Review and approve testing and validation documentation, including FATs, HATs, SATs, inspection reports, and ITPs.
  • Review and approve O&M manuals.
  • Liaise with Sales, Production, Project, HSE, and QA/QC Management teams.
Requirements:
  • High level of technical competency in mechanical engineering design and analysis.
  • Hands-on experience in assembly and operation of life support machinery.
  • Hands-on experience in assembly and operation of marine and subsea equipment.
  • Ability to work overtime when required.
  • Position may require international travel.
