About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Transport Administrator to join our Customer Delivery Operations team at John Lewis Partnership. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our transport services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including Partners and external service providers, to resolve operational issues and maintain effective relationships.
  • Assist site management with daily tasks and project work, supporting continuous improvement initiatives and using your customer experience to promote John Lewis and Partners.
  • Stay up-to-date on knowledge of the Road Transport Directive, Domestic and EU Drivers Hours Regulations, and assist the Site Management Team and Operator Licence holders to ensure compliance.

Requirements:

  • Experience or interest in working in transport compliance, with excellent PC skills and knowledge of Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Maths and very good communication skills, both verbal and written, with a good working knowledge of IT systems.
  • Organizational and planning skills, with a good working knowledge of Transport Legislation and experience working in a Transport office and within Transport Compliance.
