About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Retail Sales Assistant. As a key member of our shop team, you will be responsible for providing an exceptional customer experience, ensuring a welcoming and friendly atmosphere, and contributing to the overall success of our store.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer queries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Assist customers in finding products, answering questions, and providing recommendations to enhance their shopping experience.
  • Operate the cash register, handle transactions, and maintain a high level of accuracy and efficiency.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, adhering to health and safety standards and company policies.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales targets, meet customer needs, and maintain a positive store atmosphere.

Requirements:

  • A friendly, positive, and hardworking approach to work.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays, with flexibility to adapt to changing store needs.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy when handling cash and operating a cash register.
  • Ability to lift and move stock, as required.
