About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Avonbourne Care Centre. As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality food and drink services to our residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of meals, snacks, and drinks for residents
- Maintain high standards of kitchen hygiene and cleanliness
- Work collaboratively with the catering team to ensure efficient and effective service delivery
- Engage with residents to understand their dietary needs and preferences
- Contribute to the overall success of the catering team by providing excellent customer service and supporting colleagues
Requirements
- Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Positive attitude and strong communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends
