About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Team Leader to join our team at Binnies. As a key member of our regional team, you will be responsible for managing all stages of Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) and providing technical direction to the team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage EIA processes, including SEA and other environmental assessments and consents
  • Provide technical oversight and direction to the regional Environmental Team
  • Support business development and tenders
  • Supervise and mentor team members
  • Support recruitment and talent development
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Full professional membership with a relevant institute (e.g. IEMA, IES, CIWEM)
  • Chartered status with a relevant institute
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong people skills and previous management/supervisory experience
  • Understanding of commercial drivers and ability to manage to programme and budget
  • Experience in client-facing roles and development of client relationships
  • Hold a full UK driving licence
  • Previous consultancy experience
