We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer to establish and grow a new regional office in Plymouth. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the development of electrical systems for buildings and driving business growth in the region.
Key Responsibilities- Engage with clients from multiple projects at various stages, providing expert advice and guidance.
- Supervise the production of drawings in 2D and 3D design using AutoCAD/Revit, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
- Collaborate with design teams and clients during the design phase of projects, ensuring effective communication and project delivery.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Manage project finances, monitoring progress and taking a leading role in client communication.
- Lead a team of electrical engineers and technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure project success.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, driving growth and revenue for the company.
- Chartered engineer status or equivalent.
- Minimum 10+ years' experience in designing electrical systems for buildings.
- Relevant degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Strong client skills and ability to build effective relationships.
- Experience in project management and leadership.
- Proficiency in software such as Amtech, AutoCAD, Revit, IES or Dialux.
- Interest in responding to the climate emergency and contributing to sustainable building practices.
- Competitive salary of £60,000 - £75,000.
- Performance-related bonus scheme.
- Support towards professional accreditation and associated annual subscription.
