Software Engineer for Embedded Systems

Job Summary:

IC Resources is seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to join our team in a challenging and rewarding role. As an Embedded Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing software for embedded systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop software for embedded systems, including firmware and drivers.
  • Work closely with hardware engineers to ensure seamless integration of software and hardware components.
  • Develop and maintain software documentation, including user manuals and technical guides.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize software development projects.
  • Conduct thorough testing and debugging of software to ensure high-quality results.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our software solutions remain competitive.

Requirements:

  • Relevant degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience with C/C++ programming languages and embedded systems development.
  • Experience with Linux and/or other operating systems.
  • Strong understanding of software development principles and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with VHDL and/or other hardware description languages.
  • Knowledge of real-time operating systems and embedded development.
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git.
  • Understanding of DSP and wireless communication systems.
