We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Risk Assessor to join our team at Brandon James Ltd. As a Fire Risk Assessor, you will play a crucial role in supporting our clients with fire risk assessments and ensuring their properties meet the required safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct fire integrity and compartmentation surveys to identify breaches and propose remedial repairs.
- Provide quality and technical monitoring on construction projects.
- Act as a fire safety advisor to assist clients with their property portfolios.
- Have a good knowledge of Approved Document B, Health Technical Memorandum 05-02, Building Bulletins, and relevant British Standards.
- Review contractors' proposals on construction projects and provide comments on suitability.
- Assist with the delivery of projects and ensure high levels of communication and timekeeping.
- Level 3 Fire Safety Qualification minimum.
- Experience of undertaking and reviewing fire risk assessments.
- Knowledge of current and incoming UK fire safety legislation.
- Salary: £45,000 - £50,000.
