About the Role

Proman Recruitment is seeking a skilled Mechanical Procurement Engineer to join their team in a dynamic project at Shutton Mill Factory.

Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-end procurement, including tendering, sourcing, and supplier management
  • Identify and implement measures to reduce Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)
  • Analyze supplier offers and negotiate contracts
  • Coordinate logistics and imports with the Head Office Procurement Department
  • Track the supply market and engage with suppliers
  • Manage warehouse activities and prepare procurement reports

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Procurement Experience in Mechanical & Electrical Contracting Projects
  • Minimum 5 years of experience
  • Knowledge of the UK Market and ERP software experience (SAP preferred)
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
