A reputable and dynamic Environmental Consultancy is expanding its Water Hygiene / Legionella division and is seeking a Water Hygiene Engineer in the West Midlands area.

The ideal candidate will possess the capability to perform L8 compliance services in accordance with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 regulations.

While experience in remedial plumbing tasks and holding a relevant industry qualification is advantageous, it is not a prerequisite for this role.

Experience & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Water Hygiene Engineer within a recognized Water Hygiene / Legionella management firm.
- Ability to manage workload effectively, ensuring adequate time for report completion.
- Familiarity with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
- Possession of City and Guilds / NVQ L2 or higher in plumbing is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Proficient IT skills.
- Willingness to travel as per company/client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting a variety of L8 compliance tasks on a diverse portfolio of sites, including:
- Water sampling and temperature assessments.
- TMV servicing and failsafe evaluations.
- Showerhead descaling.
- CWST cleaning and descaling.
- Flushing of infrequently used outlets.
- Adhering to HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
- Updating onsite logbooks upon task completion.
- Executing remedial work in accordance with client specifications, such as deadleg removals, pipework modifications, and on-site troubleshooting, provided the necessary qualifications are held.
