We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Director of Quality Assurance to join our team at Company. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading and enhancing our Business Quality Management System to meet all regulatory and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Lead Quality Management System: Develop and implement a comprehensive Quality Management System that meets all regulatory and customer requirements.
- Drive Continuous Improvement: Drive the deployment of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Defect Prevention Tools across the business to ensure continuous improvement in quality and efficiency.
- Manage Audits and Compliance: Oversee the planning, preparation, and execution of 3rd Party Audits and manage Internal Audit and Compliance Monitoring programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Quality Leadership: Serve as the primary Quality lead and interface for all customer-related Quality matters, establishing and embedding Supplier Quality targets to ensure continuous improvement in Supplier performance and reducing the cost of non-conformance.
- Quality Management Experience: Previous experience in Quality Management, preferably in a precision engineering company that supplies into the Aerospace industry.
- AS9100 Knowledge: Sound knowledge of AS9100 standards and appreciation or basic knowledge of NADCAP.
- Auditor Training: Auditor trained in AS9100 and in-depth understanding of quality standards and knowledge of Quality Management Systems.
- Communication and Leadership: Strong communicator with the confidence to liaise effectively with customers and suppliers, coupled with leading audits and customer site visits.
- Results-Driven: Self-motivated and results-driven with a bias for action and a willingness to be involved in the day-to-day quality team as well as having the foresight to delegate where necessary.
