Job Summary:

Selby Jennings is seeking a highly skilled and motivated TMT Associate to join its Investment Banking team in London. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the execution of mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, and advisory transactions within the Technology, Media, and Telecommunications sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the origination and execution of M&A and equity transactions within the TMT sector, collaborating with senior bankers and clients to provide strategic solutions.
  • Perform detailed financial analysis, including financial modelling, valuation, and due diligence, to identify potential opportunities and risks.
  • Prepare and deliver client presentations, pitch books, and other transaction-related materials, showcasing your exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Conduct industry and company research to identify strategic opportunities and support transaction ideas, staying up-to-date with market trends and developments.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including sector specialists, risk, legal, and compliance, to ensure successful transaction execution and maintain strong client relationships.

Requirements:

  • 4-6 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or a related field, with a focus on TMT sectors.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related discipline; advanced degree or professional qualifications (e.g., CFA) preferred.
  • Strong financial modelling and analytical skills, with proficiency in Excel and financial databases.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and project management abilities.
  • Additional European Languages are desirable.
  • Highly motivated, team-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
