Key Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing exceptional diagnostic imaging services across a diverse range of cases.
  • Demonstrating proficiency in the operation of all relevant imaging equipment.
  • Collaborating with leading healthcare professionals and utilizing advanced practices and technologies.
  • Mentoring and supporting junior staff members in their professional development.
  • Ensuring MRI safety protocols are adhered to in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Operating within the framework of IRMER regulations and your professional scope of practice, as defined by the HCPC code of conduct.
  • Participating in departmental audits and quality assurance initiatives.
  • Assisting Clinical Lead Radiographers in their duties.
  • Maintaining equipment safety and functionality, reporting any issues as per Nuffield Health policies.
  • Demonstrating competency in intravenous cannulation and the administration of contrast media.
  • Contributing to the review and implementation of departmental policies and procedures.
  • Ensuring compliance with all organizational policies and statutory requirements.
  • Engaging in the on-call rota as required.

Qualifications Required

Essential Qualifications

  • A BSc degree in diagnostic radiography or an equivalent qualification.

Essential Experience

  • Demonstrated experience in performing a wide variety of MRI scans, including Cardiac MRI and/or CT.
