Job Title: Maintenance & Reliability Engineer

AWE is seeking a skilled Maintenance & Reliability Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for delivering engineering solutions that maximize productivity, reliability, innovation, and quality to the business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver Maintenance & Reliability solutions in relation to defined requirements, across the full engineering lifecycle.
  • Lead/participate in failure mode effects analysis of critical assets and key systems.
  • Lead/participate in root cause analysis techniques.
  • Effective stakeholder management, engaging and influencing others in order to drive improvements across the function.
  • Identify and support opportunities for cost savings, efficiency, and business improvement.
  • Expand own engineering skills and experience relevant to engineering domain.
  • Using KPI's to ensure work remains on track and performance is measured.
Requirements:
  • A recognized Engineering-related qualification (NVQ level 4/HNC ideal) and a strong maintenance engineering background.
  • The ability to solve a range of technical problems and make the necessary decisions to rectify.
  • Ability to communicate and present reports with others on technical requirements and modifications.
  • Knowledge & experience of Computerised Maintenance Management Systems would be highly beneficial in order to support analysis activities.
