Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine and preventive maintenance on mechanical assets to ensure peak performance.
- Identify and resolve mechanical issues swiftly to reduce downtime and maintain operational efficiency.
- Keep comprehensive maintenance records and report any recurring problems for further investigation and enhancement.
- Perform inspections and tests on equipment prior to deployment to confirm compliance with project specifications and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure asset readiness aligns with project schedules.
- Ensure all necessary tools and equipment for deployment are well-maintained and accurately calibrated.
- Carry out detailed inspections of returned assets to evaluate their condition and determine any required repairs or maintenance.
- Implement necessary repairs and adjustments to restore assets to optimal functionality.
- Update maintenance logs with observations and actions taken after projects to inform future maintenance planning.
- Work alongside the asset management team to propose enhancements in asset design and maintenance practices.
- Engage in training initiatives to remain updated on technological advancements and best practices in mechanical maintenance.
- Contribute to the formulation of maintenance procedures and protocols to improve efficiency and safety.

Qualifications:
- Strong mechanical skills and practical experience with mechanical assets and related equipment.
- Proficient in identifying, diagnosing, and resolving mechanical issues effectively.
- Detail-oriented in conducting inspections, maintenance, and documentation.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues across different departments to ensure asset readiness and project success.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies in mechanical maintenance.
- HNC (or equivalent) in Engineering or related field.
- Completion of a Modern Apprenticeship (or equivalent) in Engineering.
- Competence in interpreting mechanical assembly and hydraulic schematics.
- Proficient in utilizing technical tools and instruments.
- Valid UK driving license.
