**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electronics Engineer to join our client's engineering design team. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing leading-edge, high-reliability monitoring tools for an international market.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Design and develop electronic systems, including analogue and digital electronics, and embedded software development.
  • Collaborate with other Electronics Engineers to design and develop next-generation products and support existing product ranges.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including schematics, board layouts, and technical specifications.
  • Conduct electronics testing and fault-finding to component level.
  • Work with a state-of-the-art design and manufacturing facility with a relaxed and friendly engineering team.

**Requirements**

  • Strong background in electronics engineering, with a degree in electronics or a related field.
  • Over 5 years of commercial experience in electronics engineering.
  • Familiarity with micro-controller systems, including embedded C.
  • Experience with schematic capture and board layout using Altium or similar.
  • Ability to write, review, and update technical documents.

**Desirable Skills**

  • Experience with FPGA's using VHDL.
  • Experience in design for High Temperatures and/or High Voltage design.
  • Experience of DSP based communication systems.
  • Experience of switch mode DC/DC power supplies and charging systems.
