About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Community Carer. As a Community Carer, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our clients, providing personalized care and support in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and medication management
  • Prepare meals and snacks, and assist with household chores
  • Provide companionship and social interaction, engaging in activities such as reading, watching movies, or going for walks
  • Assist clients with mobility and transfers, using equipment such as walkers or wheelchairs as needed
  • Monitor and report any changes in client condition or behavior to the care team

Requirements
  • Previous experience in a care or support role, preferably in a community setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
  • A high level of physical fitness, with the ability to lift and move clients as needed
  • A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
