We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to provide tailored support to a Welsh-speaking pupil in a KS2 setting.

About the Role
  • Provide one-to-one support to a pupil with challenging behaviour, utilizing effective strategies to promote academic and emotional development.
  • Collaborate with teachers to ensure seamless integration of support, facilitating a stable learning environment.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, SENCO, and other stakeholders to monitor progress and adapt strategies as needed.
  • Implement behaviour management techniques, including movement breaks and other interventions, to support the pupil's well-being.
  • Build a positive relationship with the pupil, fostering a sense of trust and security.
Requirements
  • Fluency in the Welsh language.
  • Proven experience working one-to-one with children, particularly those with challenging behaviour.
  • Enhanced DBS check.
  • Registration with the Education Workforce Council.
