Job Summary

Excel Engineering Recruitment ltd is seeking a skilled Commercial Gas Engineer to join our team as a Mobile Maintenance Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for carrying out maintenance and repair on a wide range of commercial gas appliances.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out PPM Schedules and meet set KPI Targets covering commercial sites including restaurants, car showrooms, offices, care homes, and other commercial sites.
  • Work on a 24-hour rota for emergency call-outs, with standby allowance paid and overtime rates applying (1 in 6).
  • Perform regular maintenance and repairs on commercial gas appliances, including boilers, burners, oil, chillers, and air conditioning units.
  • Develop and maintain close working relationships with high-profile clients, ensuring long-term contracts and security.
  • Contribute to the delivery of high-quality and high-standard services to our clients.

Requirements

  • Recognized industry qualifications, including Gas Safe/ACS Commercial Gas.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to diagnose and repair faults on commercial gas appliances.
  • Experience of working on commercial gas maintenance contracts previously would be advantageous.
  • Motivated and trustworthy individual with a strong work ethic.
