Job SummaryWe are seeking experienced individuals to support children with social, emotional, and mental health difficulties within a classroom environment. As a Child Psychology Support Specialist, you will work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide individualized support to children, helping them to overcome challenges and achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities- Provide one-to-one support to children aged 4-16 with social, emotional, and mental health difficulties
- Work closely with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized support plans
- Assist children in processing difficult emotions and developing coping strategies
- Support children in developing social skills and building positive relationships with peers and adults
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Strong understanding and knowledge of children's mental health
- Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and keeping children safe in education
